State-managed and built with hunting dog training in mind, this Cascade site sits alongside a pond where dogs can swim and roam off-leash. A dirt parking lot puts you right at the water's edge. Reaching it from the west means better road conditions than the eastern approach, and during hunting season you may encounter active trainers working in the area.
