Wood chip ground cover, waste bag stations, and a misting fire hydrant give Bear Branch a few features you won't find at most parks, along with separate runs for large and small dogs and plenty of room to run. Tennis balls are usually available on-site for extra entertainment. Drainage after heavy rain has been a recurring complaint, and shade is limited in parts of the park.
