Grover Nelson Park

Situated beside Abilene's municipal zoo, this large off-leash park splits into separate sections for big and small dogs, with water fountains, waste bag dispensers, benches, restrooms, and a parking lot all on site. The grassy runs give dogs plenty of room to stretch out. A recurring concern among visitors is that leash rules in the surrounding areas aren't consistently followed.
