Holston-Chilhowee Dog Park

Tucked along the Holston River, this quiet off-leash park has separate fenced runs for large and small dogs, each with a bench and a water fountain. There's no shade anywhere on the grounds, so early morning or evening visits are worth planning for on hot days. Bringing a portable bowl is a good idea since some dogs have trouble drinking from the installed fountains. No parking lot, restrooms, or waste bags are available.
