Friends of Elkin Dog Park in Elkin, North Carolina, is being built to have more space. It will have separate areas for big and small dogs. The park has a few benches, but there is not much shade from the triangle canopies. To get to the park, you need to cross the street from the parking lot in the industrial area. While the park has potential, visitors recommend visiting the nearby Jonesville Parkway. It has more shade and better facilities.
