Currently under expansion, this Elkin park is being developed to include separate large and small dog areas with waste bags and benches on site. The triangle canopies provide little real shade, and reaching the park from the parking lot in the adjacent industrial area requires crossing the street. Visitors looking for shadier surroundings with more facilities often recommend the nearby Jonesville Parkway instead.
