Membership is the only way through the gates here — you'll need to register annually with the Champaign Park District and pick up a key fob for entry. Once inside, there's plenty of open grassy space for off-leash running, plus separate zones for small and large dogs and water fountains on site. No day passes are available, which frustrates visitors, but locals appreciate the clean, well-managed grounds.
