Tucked onto the Stanislaus University campus, this quiet Stockton pond area is shaded by trees and bordered by gardens. Turtles, geese, hummingbirds, and squirrels are frequent company, and a memorial stone for Native Americans and an 1883 water tower give the grounds a sense of history. Dogs must stay on leash here, and there are no waste bags or water stations provided, so come prepared.
