Tall trees provide solid shade over the benches and picnic tables at this fenced Payson park, which has separate runs for active dogs and smaller or shyer ones. There's no grass and some ongoing maintenance issues, but the space is generous and the regular crowd tends to be welcoming. Note that there are no waste bag dispensers, water, or restrooms on-site.
