Wooded trails and a pond for swimming make this one of the more naturally immersive off-leash spots in Anchorage. Wide gravel paths branch into narrower forest routes, with plenty of shade from the tree cover. Moose sightings are not uncommon, so stay alert, and visitors are advised to keep cars locked and clean up after their dogs.
